Pets

We only transport small domestic pets, such as dogs, cats and small domestic birds.

The number of pets allowed in both cabin and the cargo compartment is subject to space availability; therefore, you must contact us directly to book your reservation when traveling with a pet;

In all cases prior notice of at least forty-eight (48) hours must be given to Winair for the carriage of pets and confirmation must be received from Winair. Contact our reservation department for notifications and/or more information.

Transportation of pets requires at least pet passport, up to date vaccination certificates, import/export licenses. Pet carriage regulations may vary depending on your departure and destination country, make sure to review ongoing regulations for the departure and destination countries (vaccination, quarantine, etc.).

Pet in the cabin must not exceed a maximum weight of
Six kilos (6 kg) or thirteen pounds (13lbs), which includes the carrier.
The carrier in the cabin must be 11x11x18 inch.
The Pet in Cabin fee of $40 will be charged per pet per flight.
A limited number of pets is allowed in the cabin.


Live animal in the hold


Live animal in the hold must not exceed a maximum of thirty-two kilos (32kg) or seventy pounds (70lbs) the pet kennel included.
Your pet container/kennel must not exceed 45” length x 32” width x 42” height.
Live animal in hold fee is $60,
One Live animal per passenger allowed,
A limited amount of pets is allowed in the hold.

A service animal is any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. A service animal may be accepted in the cabin at no charge. Documentation/ proof of disability of passenger and proof of service training is required. For the safety of all passengers, the service animal will occupy the floor space where the passenger sits and cannot obstruct the emergency exit or aisle and areas that must remain clear in case of an emergency evacuation.

Emotional Support Pets*
These pets will be considered as a pet in the cabin or animal in the hold depending on the weight and size of the pet and will be charged a fee accordingly.

*Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals. Other species of animals, whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not considered service animals either. The work or tasks perform by a service animal must be directly related to the individual’s disability. A doctor’s letter does not turn an animal into a service animal.
